FAQ

The practical questions, answered.

Plain answers about stamps, points, referrals, staff checkout and your no-card trial.

Stamps, points & referrals

What if a customer forgets to show their card?

They can send a photo of their receipt from their card page. It stays pending until an owner or manager approves it under Customers; approval adds stamps or points with the same rules as checkout, and a receipt can only count once.

Who is Heaven’s Edge for?

In-person cafés, restaurants, independent shops, salons, barbers and local service businesses. Loyalty comes first; customer referrals and optional paid local partners can follow.

Should I choose stamps or points?

Stamps suit a clear repeat-purchase target. Points suit a reward menu earned from eligible paid spend or qualifying paid visits. Spark includes one active program of either type; Rise and Summit allow multiple.

How do per-dollar points work?

Staff enters eligible paid amount before tax and tips. Whole-point earning rounds down: at one point per dollar, $10.50 earns 10 points. A scan or enrollment never earns.

Do points expire or turn into cash?

Points currently do not expire. They cannot be bought, transferred or redeemed for cash, and are not offered as gift cards. Merchants set noncash catalog rewards and costs.

How does a customer referral qualify?

An enrolled customer shares a personal link. A genuinely new friend’s qualifying first paid purchase can earn a noncash reward; an optional friend benefit is separate. Self-referrals, clicks and enrollment alone do not qualify.

Your counter & customer page

Does this work with my existing checkout?

Yes. Your staff confirms purchases and applies rewards in your own register. There is no POS integration or automatic register discount.

Which code should a customer use?

The public business QR opens signup. A personal referral link/QR attributes a recommendation. The private customer pass supports staff lookup and reward review. None proves payment.

What if the camera does not work?

Staff can type the customer code. Internet is required. Practice checkout creates no records and is not an offline register.

Who confirms a points redemption?

Assigned staff reviews the reward, cost, current balance and after balance, then confirms once and provides the benefit in the merchant register. Customers do not self-redeem.

Can I use my own brand?

Yes: logo, colors, banner, welcome/contact/location details and merchant terms. A visible linked Powered by Heaven’s Edge footer remains. No white-label or custom-domain option is offered.

Trial, plans & locations

Is a card required for the trial?

No. The seven-day trial has Rise features at one active location. There is no automatic charge at trial end; you expressly choose paid checkout.

What are the monthly plans?

Spark $37 USD: one stamps-or-points program and one location. Rise $97: multiple loyalty programs, referrals and optional paid partners at one location. Summit $127: all Rise features, two locations and shared/location-only loyalty; $30 each beyond two on one subscription. Prices are before applicable tax.

Do staff, customers or QR codes cost extra?

No per-staff, customer, QR, stamp or point price is introduced. Draft locations are free. Additional active Summit locations are $30/month each after two.

What happens when the trial ends?

Nothing is charged automatically. New earning, enrollment and publishing pause until you choose a plan; history, legitimate earned reward fulfillment and existing monetary obligations remain.

Are live payments available?

Live subscription payment processing is not activated. Current checkout clearly identifies test mode; do not treat a test payment as a real charge. App email delivery is also currently off.

Milo, records & privacy

Is Milo just a chatbot?

No. Local setup leads with guided choices and editable forms, with optional AI reward ideas. Single-location loyalty/referral setup uses two screens, or three when choosing multiple-location scope. Manual editors remain available.

Can Milo launch or pay on its own?

No. Saving a reviewed draft is separate from owner-confirmed launch. AI suggestions need review; chat cannot independently approve money or send messages. Not every operation is AI-powered.

Can customers see one another’s balances?

No. Customer progress is private and business-scoped, with separate program balances. Shared Summit cards do not create a cross-business rewards network.

Can I export or correct customer records?

Authorized owners can export customer records and make corrections with a reason. Point balances use full history, while event lists can show recent pages. Refunds reverse originally earned points.

Does joining mean marketing consent?

No. Marketing is a separate optional unchecked choice. App email delivery is currently off; joining is not permission for promotional messages.

Optional partners & merchant promises

Do you supply paid partners?

No. Rise and Summit let businesses invite and review their own local partners. There is no affiliate marketplace or network supplied.

What are the cash partner payout fees?

First lifetime $10,000 real completed cash affiliate payouts per business has no platform payout fee. Only the portion above it has a Rise 2% or Summit 1% fee. Provider costs are paid separately by the business and the partner receives full principal. The allowance does not reset with plans or locations.

Are stamps, points or noncash referrals charged payout fees?

No. Spark is loyalty-only without cash affiliate access or a payout fee.

Will Heaven’s Edge transfer partner money?

No automatic funding or routed payout is available. Businesses pay externally and record actual date/reference. A payment record is merchant confirmation, not bank verification.

What happens if a merchant closes a program?

Merchants set clear reward and closure terms and are responsible for honoring them. Closure does not silently transfer, expire or delete earned rights. Points do not expire; cross-location reassignment is not offered. Contact the merchant about fulfillment.
