Practical guidance · examples to adapt · not legal or financial advice
1. Choose the qualifying purchase
Write a plain sentence: “One stamp for each qualifying paid regular coffee.” Specify minimum spend or eligible item if relevant. A scan, signup or unpaid visit is not a purchase.
2. Name the reward
Choose a free item, service add-on or discount. State exactly what staff will provide and any exclusions. Nine qualifying coffees toward a free coffee is an example, not a preset promise.
3. Set up and review
Open Programs → Loyalty → Stamps, or Milo’s guided choices. Set the target and merchant terms. Optional rules stay collapsed until needed; use the full editor for customization.
4. Launch separately
Saving creates a draft. Review the program as owner, then use the separate launch action when the required business/location details are ready. Draft, paused and archived are not live.
5. Train staff and share
Download the public signup QR from your customer page. Customers use a private pass for staff checkout. Staff take payment and confirm earning; reward fulfillment stays in your register.
