Practical guidance · examples to adapt · not legal or financial advice
1. Start without a card
The seven-day trial includes Rise features at one location. There is no automatic charge at the end. Choose a paid plan explicitly; live billing is not activated and current payment screens use clearly labeled test mode.
2. Choose the right plan
Spark $37 USD/month has one active stamps-or-points program and one location. Rise $97 adds multiple loyalty programs, noncash referrals and optional paid partners at one location.
3. Count active shops
Summit $127 includes two active locations and all Rise capabilities. Each active location beyond two is $30/month on the same subscription/invoice: three $157, four $187. Draft locations are free.
4. Review changes before confirming
Additional-location activation uses a reviewed quote. Removal and downgrades account for retained locations/programs and outstanding rewards; keep the merchant’s fulfillment arrangements explicit. Existing records are not deleted.
5. Keep money relationships separate
Stamps, points and noncash referral rewards have no payout fee. Only real completed cash partner payouts use the lifetime $10,000 fee-free allowance; above it Rise 2% and Summit 1%, with business-borne provider costs and full partner principal.
